Providing Catholic Health Care to South Florida

Catholic Health Services of the Archdiocese of Miami is one of the leading Catholic health care providers in South Florida. We provide a full continuum of services, specializing in rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, home health care, early education and child care, low-income housing and hospice for seniors throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Operating 38 facilities in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, we serve over 7,500 people daily with love, skill, compassion and respect for all human dignity – regardless of race, creed or religious affiliation.

CHS originated as Catholic Community Services, and as a result of the work and vision of Monsignor Bryan O. Walsh, later became Catholic Health and Rehabilitation Services. In 1985, we assumed the name Catholic Health Services of the Archdiocese of Miami to reflect our growing scope of services. Although our services are varied and the communities that we served are diverse, our mission, vision, and values serve to unite and fortify us.

An active and eclectic Board of Directors, experienced in health care, social services, business, finance, education and Catholic ministry, governs CHS. Our corporate management team and facility administrators are the highest caliber of industry professionals committed and dedicated to providing superior standards of quality care and services.
